Match Group Agrees to $14 Million Settlement on Deceptive Practices Complaint
Match Group MTCH 2.02%increase; green up pointing triangle will pay $14 million to the Federal Trade Commission to resolve a 2019 complaint involving deceptive practices.
Under the settlement, Match Group Inc and Match Group LLC—the owners of online dating services such as and Tinder—agreed to permanently stop deceptive advertising, cancellation and billing practices, the FTC said Tuesday.
